"Good" art now-a-days could be thought of as art that gives a lot to talk about. It's not enough to be beautiful. That's been done, why can't they keep doing what they always do. Maybe we are addicted to change, or contrast, which is change. Just time passing on isn't enough change. Our eyeballs and ears aren't stimulated by time passing only, or at least not "directly", there should be change. Change isn't time.
